obligatory first post with music!

So I'm going to try this again, and hopefully this time around it'll be a success. Although, how can one really succeed at blogging. It's not like I hope to gain blogging fame, and be known to bloggers worldwide.

There was just something about vox that wasn't cutting it. People couldn't leave me comments, and if I wanted to get creative and change it up a bit, I couldn't. Maybe I expect too much from my blog? Oh well.

So how to begin this? It's a beautiful day outside, and I've just made the decision to skip my english class. I didn't do the reading, and I have a paper due Monday. For the first time in years, I actually have writer's block, to the point that I can't even bullshit well. I'm in quite the conundrum.

But this is all boring nonshabloggary, so let me get onto the good stuff. The things I want to do, and have been wanting to do with a blog. I want to share pictures, music and other bits of my life with you. Yes you! And can you blame me? Kidding. That was really self-absorbed.

But seriously, some music. I'm realling digging this band Vampire Weekend. They hail straight out of Columbia University, and by golly, they're fantastic. Labeling themselves as punk/new wave/classical, Vampire Weekend has lyrics that make you want to get up and dance, or at the least tap your toes.
